HOT
TUB
Step just outside the door of the private massage and sauna
house and slip into our state-of-the-art, piping
hot tub, set in a beautiful garden. Our water sanitizing system uses a
non-chlorine, non-bromine chemical (MPS) and an ozonator. The tiered seats
accomodate people of different heights with soothing jets literally everywhere
you turn. An experience not to be missed.
Hydrotherapy has been used for thousands of years. A hot tub puts together
three of nature's most powerful relieving agents: heat, water and air.
Working in unison, they invigorate and gently massage your body, easing
away aches and pains. It's a natural therapy, safely used by hospitals,
physiotherapists and health spas around the world.
In a spa, three basic factors are at work: heat, buoyancy, and massage:
Immersion in hot water raises the body temperature and causes the blood
vessels to dilate, resulting in increased circulation. The buoyancy of
the water reduces body weight by approximately 85-90%, relieving pressure
on joints and muscles, while creating the relaxing sensation of weightlessness.
The massaging action of a spa is created by sending a mixture of water
and air through jet nozzles. This energized warm-water stream relaxes
tight muscles and stimulates the release of endorphins, the body's natural
pain killers.
